I used this LO by Britta as inspiration

This LO uses Lynn's Here & Now Template 1.
I started with paper 3 for the base, then paper 8 for the top block.
I used kit paint elements in place of the paint on the template and also clipped paint elements to the triangular pieces of the template.
For the left triangle, I moved the shadow around a bit to make sure it was accentuated.
I made two copies of the photo then extracted the bird from one using it over the clipped photo. Then I deleted the center portion of the extract, made a copy of the layer, and cut apart the two pieces of the bottom copy so I could apply shadows that did not show on the cut edges at the photo frame.
Then it was a matter of adding elements and blending the word art at top left and right.
