Another family photo but of whom I do not know. The interesting thing about the photo was the painted, pastoral background which seemed oddly out of place with the severe pose on a straight-backed wooden chair. I liked the painted background, so I decided to extend the pastoral scene. To do that, I took a watercolor that looked much like the background and, through masking, added it to the photo. Then I made a composite of the new image and masked that. The rest was just adding the paper texture up top and building the twig cluster. Since I don't know anything about this man, I kept to the pastoral theme and added the quote from Henry David Thoreau.
Wow this is wonderful and earthy and clean design and checks so many boxes for me. I love the vertical typography and the watercolor blending, and definitely the twig and that fantastic bit of burlap. Awesome take on the last color challenge, too. Just wow.
Juste parfait Adryane !!! J'adore tout, l'effet d'aquarelle du paysage la photo qui se fond dessus, les couleurs, ce petit morceau de toile de jute avec cette branche, trop beau et digne d'une grande artiste, bravo !!!
