Inspiration – my photo ride to the coast to take pictures of the lighthouses that had been decorate- d for Christmas.
Start – New File File>New 12x12x300
Paper- Placed Solid Paper three over the background layer
Mask – Used Artsy Transfer 5 for a mask. I grouped the layers and attached the photo to the mask using Layer>Create Clipping layer. But then I moved some of the layers that make up the upper right corner of the transfer to be above the photo. The black stain layer I filled with the blue using Edit>fill and used a Linear Burn Blend Mode. I used the Eraser tool to scrub at the straight edge and blend it in.
Frames: I dragged the frames from the Artsy Layered Template onto the page.
Photos _ I attached photos from my photo ride to the frames turning one of the frames to a portrait to accommodate the tall lighthouse. I used Layer>Create Clipping Mode.
Transfers – I added Overlay 4 and the Artstroke transfer to my page placing the overlay above the stain on the paper. I used the jpg version of Artsy transfers 3 & 4 together to fill the frame that was underneath the other frames.
Brushes- Used Little Numbers 8 in the lower right cover in the blue of the palette.
Elements – took Multimedia Balloon 3.4 under some of the frames which worked because this was mostly transfers and not three-dimensional elements, used the blue heart in this trapped space area between the masked photo and the framed ones. I now had three hearts.
Words – used the wood word Enjoy for a title.
