When Jeremy was 7 years old we spent a couple of days going to visit Santa and decorating the Christmas tree when Mom and Dad were busy. I got the decorations ready and he was putting them on the tree. He started asking me where all the decorations came from because most of them were different. I explained to him that most of them were from his mother's childhood and that some of them were given to us as presents but most of them we had given each other or they were to show a special occasion. He was very curious about who they came from and why they were special. I had the best time showing and telling him about all the special ornaments. It brought back so many wonderful memories of our family and traditions.
