There are lots of layers in this and most of them are either blended or have layer masks for some more texture and opacity variation.
I blended the two grungy papers using Darker Color for the background. I duplicated the photo and set one layer at Multiply and the other at Overlay. I used layer masks on each photo layer to soften some of the edges. The original photo had a fantastic light leak already but I added one, blended with Vivid Light at 85% opacity.
