Steps:
Took a white background paper from the kit. Added a new empty layer on top of it, and played a little bit with the textured brushes and created a messy overlay, semi-covering the entire page. Clipped one of the patterned papers to this overlay. Changed the blend mode to Multiply. Added a new empty layer and once again played with the brushes. This time creating a messy border. Picked up a dark green color from one of the elements and changed the color on the border and changed the blend mode to Linear Light, and lowered the opacity to 30 %. Added a couple of the paint elements from the kit and put it below my overlay, and played around with the blend modes, until I was happy with the look of the background. Added the pre-made frame (I think it was a newsletter freebie???) and then added some more elements to it, and created the other cluster. Created a diagonal paper masked and clipped a blue paper to it. Took an old photo of me, turned it into black & white, then used one of the photo styles on it to create a more vintage feel. Added the journaling.
