We had to kill time before our room was ready. We visited Alamosa NWR before lunch and Monte Vista NWR after lunch. The first wildlife we saw was a pair of jackrabbits. We also saw a pair of bitterns, our first ever ruddy ducks and baby coots. We also saw lots of baby Canada geese. Weather was moody

Love the map and look at that ominous sky! Gorgeous page and glad you got to see some different ducks. We have lots of Canadian geese in the yard by the pond this year. Messy ...
