Translation:
A magical moment. We are at the regional archive in Uppsala, I'm browsing the old acts, and there it is: a letter written by my great (times 11) grandfather Johannes Rudbeckius. He has signed the letter on March 2nd, 1630. I have no idea what the letter is about, because I'm having a hard time reading the old penmanship. It seems to be an answer to another letter, and it's a bit hard to know what he's writing about when you don't have that letter. But, it's he who held the pen, and he who signed his name. You feel so close to him!

Beautifully done! It's a fantastic story and the page does it justice. The cluster with details is a great idea.

Beautiful page, Eva! I saw this mega kit when I was searching through her store! I plan on getting it at some point! So, you do genealogy?

Yes, I've been doing it for years. Hubby too. We plan all our vacations around it. LOL

What a find. I would be happy dancing, too. I love the split page and beautiful cluster, but love the journaling most of all!
