Redpolls

We were very excited today to see the Common Redpolls come to our feeder and those of the neighbors. Late in the afternoon we finally had Common Grackles show up too, a normal early sign of spring.

I love how you made your sketch page with the redpoll finches we do have finches in the U.K. but not this kind or Grackles.x

I have never heard of redpoll finches. I love how this beautiful page was also educational! Very nice take on this challenge.

What beautiful birds and great photos of them! I'd never heard of Redpolls before either, so this page was very interesting to read. Lovely paper choices to pick up on the "red" patches on the birds' heads, great use of the twig accents too, especially the curly ones!
