I’m writing this in 2021, but in 1984 I thought it was funny that mom was “so old!” Now that I am almost ten years past this “limit,” and mom is 91, 55 seems really very young! It’s all your perspective I guess..
This page is pretty in blues! Loving that watercolor background - and I adore how you softened a hexagon by clipping it with the playful rounded polka dots. This is SO CUTE. And YES on your journaling. 60 is the new 40 and 90 is the new 70!
Love what you did for this challenge. Love the look of your mom in the 80's. Love the cake. And, yes, it is all a matter of perspective. My mom was turned 55 in the '80's as well. It seemed so old. As someone who is now 63, 55 really was young.
bless your moms heart that she is now 91. Mine just turned 89. But I know what you mean. I used to think that 64 was so old and yet here I am. Beautiful layout with that offset frame.
