The Blessed Mother, Mary is honored in the annual May Procession.

St. James Catholic School was first opened in 1906 by the Sisters of Perpetual Adoration. For several reasons, the Sisters closed the school and convent in the summer of 1923. By July the Sisters, Servant of the Immaculate Heart of Mary came to live in the convent and reopened the school in September. To this day the school is still staffed by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I went to kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade at St. James Catholic School. John went to kindergarten and 1st grade.
