We stuck with our Governments recommendations for Christmas, especially the UK Chief Medical Officer's advice about mixing on Christmas day: "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should..." ( I just love Professor Chris Whitty)so we cancelled our plans to have Christmas dinner with the family and met up with them for a morning walk instead. The weather was kind to us and the park had a great atmosphere as lots of families were obviously doing the same thing and meeting parents and grandparents outdoors to exchange gifts etc. This was the first Christmas EVER that Colin and I have spent alone...and I have to report it wasn't bad at all, he's a keeper!
