Your beautiful page caused me to look up the reason red is/was used so much in Japanese art. It is because the red (dye) is obtained from safflower, which is obviously plentiful there. But, I love your blue. This is striking!

It's gorgeous. Red is exciting, but the famous Great Wave off Kanagawa is blue and white and just so famous. I like the blue a lot. Hope your back is better, although mine is a forever thing.
