Cooking Without a Recipe (p1)

It's Day 1 of the Recipe Challenge https://ozone.oscraps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=40089, what will you create? (I had a head start :)).
As the aATeam was planning the Recipe Challenge, I came upon these words on one of the many Poetry Poles in our neighborhood - quite a coincidence!
For the challenge I am creating "A November to Remember", basically my November pages, with recipe slants. Stay tuned!
(btw I don't cook, thus...)

I brought in all the layers of Recipe Template 2 p6 (including the white background) and Transformed them all to fit my format. Added my large photo and blended using Masks from Scenic Template. Clipped Papers from Caducous and Deciduous to the Recipe masks, then added words and embellishments. My 'Ingredients' list was created by making a 'blank' word strip (use any of the Clipped Words, add a Layer using the Rectangular Marquee Tool, covering the Text, use the Fill tool to fill the rectangle, using the Color Picker to sample the color from the Clipped Word background, then add text).
Here are the words from "Cooking without a Recipe":

These are unprecedented times (at least in my life).
Were building new roads for a shifting landscape.
At this point, theres no knowing where well end up or how well get there.
If I could offer a palatable analogy (pun intended),
its like cooling without a recipe--in someone elses kitchen!

How do we do it?
1. We start with Experience, (ours and that of those who know more),
asking ourselves (and them):
What tools and ingredients can we combine
in delightful new ways?
Once weve exhausted experience (which only takes us so far),
2. We rely on Instinct and Intuition--
traits that often lie fallow.
The challenge: Can we find the Stillness to access them ?
3. Finally, we have to Experiment--
trusting that well make mistakes; understanding thats the best way to learn; and knowing that, whether cooking in someone elses kitchen, or traveling uncharted paths, we have access to one ingredient that always serves us well: Love

Fun recipe. I think I'll try a page at least using the template on one side of the spread.

a successful page! for the preparation of the recipe to see for me!

Cooking without a recipe was the way Grandma did it! Now we try to recreate with a pinch of this and a dash of that. Not always very successful!
