One of my fractals

Smoke burned my eyes from the Grizzly Creek Fire 140 miles away on Sunday, so we decided not to take our Jeep trip on Monday. We already had disappointing photos of a red fog sunrise from another fire. I-70 remained closed and the fire was at 25,700 acres and 0% contained.

I rendered a fractal which is used Color Burn over Hard Light. I put it in Illustrator and traced some major lines using various brushes, which I exported and placed over the same lines in the fractal with a Color Fill. Then I added some of Anna's circles and brushes.

Amazing! Beautiful use of the fractals and colors. The documentation is succinct and relevant. I'm glad that I have retired from teaching. I'm not sure I could do it anymore.

Beautiful artwork, terrible news - sorry about the fires - I don't miss that about California. Wonderful impact overall - tells a definite story!

The use of those blending modes really produced a wonderful glow. It is so sad that there have been so many devastating fires at this time. Coinciding with the other devastating news of the time--the pandemic--sometimes it is too much. Beautifully documented.

Things just keep getting messier. The circle at the bottom is my favorite. Did you read that it reached 130 degrees in Death Valley? Maybe the hottest place on the planet.

Wow, the combo of the colors and blending modes really convey 'HEAT'...I remember the smoke even though I lived on the other side of town from a major fire. Superb documentation, DK! Stay safe.

Great use of the fractals, love the colors, a very creative page! 170,000 dead in your land the USA, so very, very sad. With us, the infections have increase after the summer holidays, I was already afraid of that, it really scares me.
