Anna Color 4-24 Azalea Journal

I read an article the other day about ways to combat anxiety, and true gritty journaling was recommended, pouring out those feelings. So I gave it a try.
Photos of orange azaleas from my neighborhood.

The background is a piece of Upcycled Art Paperie No 2 blended onto ArtPlay Palette Barren SUnrise dark paper. On top of that is a close up photo of a hosta, my favorite leafy genus, in an overlay blending mode.

Beautiful! and a nice coincidence. I saw a bush today and took a photo because the azaleas were this amazing vibrant orange. I found the name of the plant using another search and am now on the hunt for one for my yard.

I had azaleas when I lived in Washington, but didn't know they also came in orange. Pretty intense, and no doubt consistent with your gritty feelings. And of course I have found documenting and journaling a healthy thing to do.
