Journaling: My paternal Grandmother possessed a giftshe could play the piano by ear. She played loudly--she didnt have a light touch. We enjoyed many a happy
sing-a-along. Her repertoire included Take Me out to the Ballgame, A Bicycle Built for Two, Easter Parade, Ava Maria, and a host of Christmas carols.

Process: Started with a different background paper. Placed MultiMedia Frame and clipped two copies of photo to the maskapplying color burn blending mode to the top copy, then reducing opacity to 15% to give aged photo a little depth without darkening too much. Didnt plan to make this a Christmas page, but experimented with numerous background papers and landed on this one. Clipped copy of photo to Rejoice Transfer 7 and added it to composition. Positioned textures, brushes, stains, splatters, threadz, and art stroke. Finished with journaling and WordART (gold paint clipped to title).
