Mama & Papa barn swallow have been using Casa de la Christy as their AirBnB (AirBirdnBabies) for the past three years. This year their stay began mid-March instead of the usual mid-June. I wonder if they're keeping me company during my stay-at-home vigil. They are also used to me staying about 3 feet away and holding up my iPad to snap their pictures.
Loved your explanation.. and your page... I had a bird take up residence in a wreath on my front door once! The downside was the "poop" totally ruined the paint on the door!!!!
