Process: Clipped photo to all layers of MultiLayered FotoBlendz (psd file) and positioned on Hygge Artsy Paper 4 over Hygge Artsy Transfer 5 and APP Hygge Transfer 2. Positioned Hygge twig between above layers. Added Hygge Overlay 5 (rotated horizontally) to left edge layered with Hygge GoldPaint and Hygge Brush 14 (recolored, duplicated, and color burn blending mode applied to top layer). Added text to MultiMedia Hygge 1_2 (psd file); merged layers and placed between layers of Hygge Artsy Transfer 4 (psd file, omitted left group of layers and used white stain in title cluster); applied color burn blending mode to stain brown; merged layers and placed on layout. Finished with Hygge button and teapot charm (color burn blending mode), Urban Threadz, title, and text.

Journaling is from a relative via a genealogy site:I often wondered why the Cowling family left the beautiful town of Pateley Bridge to live in the Industrial city of Leeds. William lost his wife Mary in 1837, shortly after the birth oftheir third child. Times must have been tough, as it seemsa couple of years later William was caught poaching at nightperhaps to helpfeed his family. He was convicted and sent togaol for six months.The 1841 census indicates he didnt return to Pateley Bridge after release from imprisonment.
Instead he stayed with his cousin, Samuel Rowling, in Headingly, Leeds. Meanwhile, back in Pateley Bridge, his mother, Bella, who lived in Ivy Cottage, was looking after his two sons, John and David. By 1851, William had remarried and become established in Headingly as a builder; then his sons joined him.It must have been very different from life in the country, and sadly William died in 1858 at the age of 50. Our branch of the Cowling family never returned to live in Pateley Bridge.
