Forest Elf

I don't remember ever doing the Santa trip thing and didn't have kids to make do it, but I was sure as a little kid that I "saw" him at my bedroom door on Christmas Eve. But now I want him to be less about presents and more about being kind.

That glorious green background caught my eye. It, and the whole page, are beautiful. I like your sentiments about Santa, too. After all, he began as St. Nicholas who gave all he had to help the poor and sick.

I've seen the "Elf-like Santa" in stores and I love that version of him too! Who's to say he's not like that? Beautiful page with a wonderful Santa!

I like that interpretation of Santa too. I also like how using the green background emphasizes his placement in a living tree. Nice take on the challenge!
