No matter where I live, Kansas City, Missouri, will always be home to me. I've enjoyed the Country Club Plaza Christmas lights for decades--they're magical. Much of the Plaza is modeled after Spanish architecture found in its sister city, Seville, Spain. An interesting side noteHemingway lived in Kansas City three times. The last time was in 1931 when he lived on the Plaza. In my photo, you can see his apartment building across the street from the tower.

Process: Started with Verdure Solid Paper 4. Positioned Verdure Transfer 3, Gold Paint, Paint, Lace, ArtSTroke 1, Brushes 11, 15, 18, and Edge Overlays 3 and 4 on background. Used Glaze app on my photo. Chose paper brush, white art stroke, texture, and gold paint from ArtsyLayered Template 303 and placed on layout. Made three copies of photo and clipped one to Verdure FotoBlendz mask, one to FotoBlendz Overlay No. 11_2 mask, and one to Watercolor No. 2_4 mask; linked three masked photos and placed on layout. Finished with three dimensional elements and WordART.
