Of course, my favorite season is Summer! I had a hard time finding an "open" font, so I typed in the letter S. Then I rasterized the layer, added a stroke to it. Then I created a layer from the stroke and deleted the S-layer. I blended my photo of the shore over the background with Hard Light.

That's how I get open letters as well. Works like a charm. Terrific entry to the challenge. All the summery elements are delightfully placed. Thanks for taking the time to play.
