It might not seem that this is a priceless photo to me by the way I "trashed" this layout, but this is the most important photo I have! Unfortunatley, this is how all of our older photo albums and pictures have come to us: pen scribbles on tattered frames, creased and discolored newspaper clippings, old tape that has petrified into cement and stains from photos that have been removed from the page (journaling is below the credits if you are interested).

5 Generations: My mother is the baby being held by her father, Jerry McAlpin, sitting beside his father, Louis McAlpin, sitting beside his mother, Doma Cecil McAlpin, sitting beside her mother, Polly Ann Riley Cecil. (Polly is my great-great-great grandmother and this is the only photo I have of her; Louis, my great-grandfather, didn't like photos, so this is the only picture of him I have ever seen).
