Process: I started with a solid paper from ArtPlay Palette Apothic. I placed the photo of Dracula to the left side and some elements from MultiMedia Halloween No 1. Then I placed an artsy paper from ArtPlay Palette Apothic above and changed the blending mode for it to Pin Light. Then I added a brush from ArchiTextures No 15 to the top of the layout and duplicated it. I placed transfers from ArtPlay Palette Apothic in the top and to both sides and then added brushes from Distress ToolSet No 1. I continued with adding elements and brushes from BONUS Halloween Bundle 18 Oct 2019, Halloween No. 3 and Halloween WordART Mix No 2. I placed the photo of Bran Castle in Transylvania and adjusted it with Levels and then clipped it to a fotoblendz from FotoBlendz Overlays No 13. I did a copy of the photo with Dracula and placed it to the right side. I used the Magic Wand Tool and selected the dark parts and erased these. The rest was set to blending mode Overlay.
Oh, I am so glad you mentioned that you used the Pin Light blending mode; I ALWAYS forget to try that one! I won't forget next time! It literally looks like he's been buried in the paper and he's breaking free. What an incredible special-effect! Thank you so much for taking the time to document each of your steps! I am learning so much from that. I doubt Transylvania ever looked so good!
