leaf smoke

I used all aA products plus a textured paper from VPearce. For the image,I used filters and blending modes and color enhancements to get the look that I wanted.

When I was a little girl and would help my Dad rake leaves in the fall with my dog Gyp close beside me, I would jump into the piles before he would burn them and delight in the feel of crunchy leaves and the sounds that accompanied. Once the raking and pile were complete,Dad would stand by and burn the leaves while I watched on. To this day,I can go back there to that time, if I smell leaf smoke .It's magical scent, sends me to another time filled with love and wonder and the carefree times of a young girl enjoying the moment.
Looks tangible! Pam, your masterful blending reminds me of some ink leaf prints my Mother made years ago! Thanks for refreshing my memories of jumping in piles of Autumn leaves and those carefree times!

Love the vine mixed with the threadz. The tallest piles were a big incentive for the boys to rake the most leaves possible, but I didn't get so many chances to jump in them.

Beautiful image for this memory.
It's really quite remarkable what a simple smell can do to place us in time.
