All That Glitters

New Products coming very soon to the store....

The colour palette of APP Ochre was appropriate for my image of Barclays Bank in London.

I had worked with my images prior to linking to the piece in several iPad apps.

I created my 12 x 12 page and selected ArtsyPaper 3 from the Palette. I actually moved it around by free transform CTRL+T till I got the gorgeous stain on the angle that I wanted it to be.

Once I had the background in place, I selected several brushes from the palette and grouped them together to form like a FotoBlenz and to make it the shape and darkness I wanted, I duplicated the group again.

I then selected my image and clipped it to the brush stains via Layer Create Clipping Mask (ALT+CTRL+G). I did move both around a little with free transform (CTRL+T) till I was happy with the placement.

I also added two of the transfers from the palette in the top right and bottom left of the image for effect. Each were added to their own layers so they could be moved around as required.

I then added an art stroke from the palette to give it a big of pizazz.

This is just stunning Trish! I love what you're doing on your iPad apps to these London photos. Wonderful color choices here.

It is quite wonderful what can be done by playing with filters and blending techniques. An exceptional result.

Love the contrast of contemporary and historic architecture and your photo treatment!
