A few more of my hot air balloon photos from Colorado Springs annual festival. When the wind cooperates, the balloons fly over the lake, lower to touch the water, then rise...'splash and dash' is the nickname for the maneuver.

Process: Clipped my photos, papers, stain, and transfers to template masks. Added background paper. Filled hot air balloon brushes with blue color, created several copies, applying color burn blending mode to top layer and lowering opacity of top layer until satisfied with intensity. Added slight drop shadow to word rise and applied color burn blending mode; also erased the dot on the i. Finished with textures, splatters, art stroke, and three-dimensional embellishments, and WordArt.
