Copenhagen is one of those lovely cities where you can wander about feeling at home. Nyhavn is the old port and even though it was noisy and crowded on the boardwalk there was such a charming view from our 17th century apartment. Hans Christian Andersen lived on the sunny side of the canal you see there. We took a short canal cruise to see The Little Mermaid who used to live in one of Hans Christian Andersons fairytales.
