we left the Keys and in late afternoon we made it to the eastern entrance of the Everglades and took the Anhinga trail at the Royal Palm - gators!

That eye! Oy vey! Dramatic! I remember a visit to Key West, just walking along a beach...and I almost tripped over a log...oops! I mean a gator!

I'm not nearly as spooked by moose and bears as I am by these guys. That's a great closeup of the evil eye. :)

ITA with everyone here, the crop on the eye is fantastic and just a bit creepy! Fab photos!

Oh my! There have been many stories recently about attacks by these fellas!! I would give them a wide berth.

Ohhh Nancy!! Looks like a visit to Jurassic Park LOL! Gators freak me out, but then most reptiles do! Great page of your day with the Gators!
