for our last excursion we took a bus trip to Portage Glacier and the high way went along the Turnagain Arm of the Cooke Inlet - huge mud flats as this has wide ranging tidal surges

Interesting but the brewery tour is awful appealing... I have watched so many dummies get stuck in mud flats, that pastime has its own kind of charm.
