We had a taste of spring last week but now we are back to reality. I was inspired by the new video Melic For Digital Artistry Without Photos, where Anna talks about how she isn't experiencing spring yet so when she created APP Melic she wanted some of the dark colors of winter to mix with the light of spring. So everyone could use this palette to express their experiences. Freezing here this morning so I was inspired to create this page.

I wanted to use my sunrise picture of a barn covered in snow with the sun bursting out behind much as spring will sun burst upon us. But I wanted to surround it was some of the darker transfers to represent the cold of March. I started with SolidPaper2. I added FramedFotoBlenz1.3 rotating 90 degrees and then made a duplicate rotating 180 degrees. I merged the two copies and clipped my photo to it. Like the light that spread out from the photo as spring will soon. Next I added ArtsyPaper3 and changed to blend mode Linear Burn. I added 4 different transfers behind the picture to give the dark mood of winter in March. I also added Multimedia1.1 for a hint of spring. I thought the Word Art Spring Forwarded expressed my thoughts. Then added a little text to clarify.

Not sure you will like it but it does express how I feel sitting in this cold winter weather dreaming of spring and warmth.
