This is my son, Joshua and my sweet niece, Kyla. We went on a vacation with my husbands entire family in September of 1994 His parents, two sisters and their families, there was a total of 13 of us. We went on a Carnival Cruise and then to Disney World. It was wonderful!
Some of my old photos scan wonderfully and some don't; I tried many things to no avail...

My Sailor Boy
This photo of you and your cousin Kyla was taken at the airport; we were headed to Cape Canaveral Florida to set sail on our first cruise. When we reached the huge boat, it was quite remarkable to see. You and your sister were so excited. Just as we turned into the boarding dock parking lot, Michelle had told us that her eyes were very itchy and thought she had pink-eye. At that moment I looked over to my left and there was a Walk-in-Medical Center! You and dad stayed in the waiting room while Michelle and I went to see the doctor. There were vertical blinds on the windows in the doctors office. I peeked through to see what all the noise was outside. I was shocked; I saw it pouring sideways, palm trees bent all the way over, the ocean looked ominous... and there was that BIG boat that I was about to go on with all my precious cargo! What was I thinking? I was so fearful, although I never showed it to you or your sister! The doctor gave Michelle some eye drops and by the time we set sail, the sun was shinning... Just some modern day miracles. You had youre third birthday on a cruise ship heading to the Bahamas Islands. During our four day cruise, you kept asking us, When are we going on the boat??
