Photo Booth

This photo booth strip was taken a long time ago with a wonderful friend on our senior trip just before graduation from high school. I think Tommy had a little crush on me in high school and he asked me for a kissy everyday we saw each other. I would never give him that kiss. This went on our entire high school career. Then on our senior trip to Seattle he asked me to get in the photo booth with him and I finally gave him that kiss. As we were waiting for the film strip to come out of its slot, he was hoping that kiss was caught on film, but unfortunately and much to his disappointment it was not. I gave him that kiss after the photos were taken. So many years have passed and I wish that all important kiss had been recorded. After graduation everyone went their separate ways as it should be, and I dont know what happened to Tommy, but I thank him for for the memory and the smile it still gives me. I will always treasure these tiny photos.

Notes: Starting with artsy paper 2 and giving it a filter treatment, I blended solid paper 2 into it using Overlay blend mode. I turned the opacity of the artsy paper down to 72% to give it a soft look.

Bringing in the film strip and finding a spot I liked, I duplicated it a couple more times. On the second copy I used Threshold adjustment layer and Color Overlay. I duplicated this set and placed each of the sets where I wanted them. I took one of the photos and clipped it to an artsy transfer at the bottom of the original film strip and blended the layers.

After bringing in the png MM Flower, I built up the background with the artsy transfers underneath and adding a paper texture in the mix.

I put the urban threads at the top right of the photos and added a word transfer on the opposite side. Using word art as my title, I cut out one word and added my own. I believe that finished this page.

I dont even know if photo booths still exist.
