I was inspired but the subject matter, the horizontal design as well as the colors and paint.
I originally was going to use a plain photo of the cows but then figured- what the heck and went all in with the colors. I painted over the black spots on the hide on new layers for each color, then changed the Blending Mode to give each layer some depth and texture, while not reducing the bright colors. I added a lot of paint splashed and scribblers and ended it with the straight-laced cow wonder what happened to Bessie!
