This is my 10.000st post!
Because I Don't have a smart Phone and I love my FB cover i thought it was time to have a graphic desktop background on my computer again.
I took a photo of Matt (from Muse) Bellamy and tried to extract him. Hard work because of the background but he had very much hair at that moment
I love a comic book look with halftone so I wanted to use the cut out filter but Photoshop thought it had too few memory available so I used I Posterize Adjustment layer after a Black and White adjustment layer, so the effect was more or less the same.
Then I used a Gradient map Adjustment Layer. I searched for a gradient with as much colors as the levels of the posterize layer

I took one of my wallpapers for the right dimensions
Because I worked at 300dpi (better results with the filters in my case) I used NKB's styles to make background
I also used the stamp filter for lines and applied the Halftone filter
The stripe effect is the Sketch- halftone
