Skull: Spooky Chic

I wasn't 100% sure of what I was going for when I first started this. I put the Gibson Girl head onto the black paper and started applying different gradient layers to it. After I put some of the sequins under the head, it seemed like a brain MRI to me. I decided to go with that concept and found a skull journal card from the Halloween kit. I erased the background frot he skull and dragged that under the head. I set the Blend Mode to Luminosity. The page was still dark so I added another paper over the black one and set it to Soft Light. The paper still needed a bot of color but I wanted a really light touch. I dragged on the of the Overlays onto the paper and added a new layer underneath. I took a smoke brush and at a low opacity and used the Overlay as a guide where to add the paint.
