Christmas 1995

I love going through some of my old photos from when my dd was little. It seems like yesterday, but it was actually 18 years ago how time flies. My dd was such a delightful child everything to her, whether big or small, she looked at as if it was the most special thing to her in the world. I could have given her coal (ha!) and she would have picked it up and told me how shiney and black and heavy it was, and probably would have carried it around for days, finding special places for it to be kept. I miss those days!!!

Journaling reads: Christmas 1995. It is such a joy with a toddler in the house. For Rachel, every little thing was so special, as she is the type of child that always has a smile on her face, and sees every little thing as a special occurance, so everything - big and small is so very special in her eyes. The joy and anticipation was so wonderfu to experience as parents.

Rachel opened each and every gift as if each was the most special possesion she had. The delight in her eyes was so special. Her dad helped her with her duplo blocks. Later, we noticed the little girl on the outside of the box looked just like Rachel, and when we showed her, her eyes lit up - we called her the duplo girl, and she would giggle.

The process: The FotoInspired Template made this page easy. I attached photos to most of the clipping masks of the template, and then attached ArtsyPaper from Annas new AP Wish to the others. Once this was done, I added a variety of elements, applying shadows, and then added the journaling and the WordART.

***thanks for looking***
