Not one for journaling much, so it's always a challenge for me to find something to journal about. But I did think a visit to Austin premier vegan restaurant was worth writing about, especially since I am a devoted carnivore. This is old hippie Austin at its finest, a true vegan paradise in the most tranquil setting ever. And sadly the weirdness of Austin is rapidly disappearing (our motto is Keep Austin Weird). It's being replaced by hipster hi-risers and fusion restaurants. Thanks heavens, we still have food trucks everywhere though. Big sigh, I loved the funkiness of Austin that was ever present only a few short years ago.
