Celebrate

Cora is taking dance classes, so every chance she gets, we find her dancing away! I love the dress she is wearing (wish they made it in my size). She was waiting to see a play at the Old Globe, and enjoying her surroundings. Oh to be young and carefree!

Artsy Layered Template No. 173 (Frames only) http://www.oscraps.com/shop/product.php?productid=10011535&page=1

The Process: I began with a cardstock from AP Anew, and layered the left edge of the paper with tranfers. I added the photo frames (taken from Artsy Layered Template No. 173), and placed them on top of the transfers along the left. I then added the photo, attaching them to the clipping masks. I then added a third photo. I placed it on blend mode hard light, and masked out all but Cora, and just a bit of the background around her. I duplicated this photo, and then to the top layer, I placed it back on the Normal Blend mode, and brought down the opacity to about 80%. I then masked out all but the figure. I added a number of splatter from various APs, keeping them either white, or bringing down the opacity. I added the WordArt, placing it on blend mode divide, and then added the glitter word Celebrate, along with artstrokes, glitter, the flower and a warmglow. I duplicated the white flowers, and blended them into various areas along side the blended figure. I added the stitches and threadz, and was done!
