Background is a masked copy of page 15 over solid paper 03 in Soft Light mode over paper 17. After getting the paper right so it matched the left page at the center I simply added photos and elements, playing with the layer order to get the right look.
All Saints, Brauncewell & Dunsby where Benjamin Hare & Mary Scott wed in 1816 and where most of their children were baptized. Catton Holland married their daughter Ellen Eyre here in 1845 and where William Henry Winter Sr. & daughter Jane Eyre celebrated their union in 1856.
As I walk through the documents and memories of the past, I like to also have images of the places my great grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins may have seen. I know they knew All Saints church well. The vicar would have stood in the new chancel to marry Great Grandma and Grandpa Winter.
Would any of them have used this footpath as they traversed the parish. Probably. Benjamin Hare traveled most of the parish as he moved his sheep from pasture to pasture. How I wish these places could speak in my tongue. I'll just bet they could tell some tales!
