Process: I began with the template, turning off all the layers except for the photo 1, text box 1 and title. I attached my photo and wrote the story. Then I began working on a background. I recolored some layers from the template, changed the blend mode and moved them around. Then I turned them off and started on the blended background. I placed artsy paper #5 over solid #4 and blended in just the parts that I wanted to show. I lowered the opacity. Then I duplicated and flipped that paper horizontally. I moved it down, attached a black layer mask and blended in just the paint swirls that I wanted. I blended in a couple more transfers from the artplay palette before turning back on the template layers that I wanted to use. Next, I clipped a photo to a mask for the stitched pumpkins that I created. I added the stitched leaves and multimedia branches last, rotating and making some adjustments, shadows, recoloring script, moving paint. I tacked the branch on the left down with some urban threads.
