Since I couldn't decide among the assemblage overlays, I pulled three into my design and just stacked them up. From there I clipped transfer #1 from the Artplay Palette to some of the doily parts on color burn blending mode to vintage them up just a little bit. I also used one of the transfers to create the look of trees in the background, to help my photo blend into the background better.

I added UrbanThreadz Fotoblendz Frames 2_4, duplicating one of the frames to make a triptych, and clipped in my photo. I also duplicated just the frame layers to make circle shapes that I used around the photo.

And while I was duplicating...I duplicated a lot of the threadz from the frames and dropped them all over the place.

The background is Artsy Paper #3 over Artsy Paper #1 on multiply blend mode. After adding the wordart, including altering the skirt with the dictionary page snip, I added the buttons and little paper airplane headed into a nosedive.
ooh so much to look at and admire here! all those assemblages ;-) love! the word art skirt! brilliant! and love the colors, especially the red pops!

I love this page. It has a myriad of bits and pieces that are awesome to discover. Even her skirt is word art--how clever. Love the title, bits of red and yellow with your vintage look. Awesome!

loving how you photo meshes with this APP. and your framing is fabulous too.

Quite marvelous...so much fun happening here! LOVE her wordy skirt and how the paper airplane directs the eye to the bottom part of your title!

First of all, I love that happy photo, especially the era. Your collage techniques certainly translate so well to the digital. Your work always amazes me.

Wonderful photograph! Is this your mother? So much energy and so much to look at in your page, love it!
