This is my lift of the layout coziness by evadraga. Thank-you so much for the inspiration.
Most dogs that I have had would lick and lick and lick if you gave them a chance. Cricket on the other hand, will lick hands forever, if you hold them in front of her, but just gives us one short lick to the face, almost like it is her hello greeting. When she was younger, she would greet us at the door, and jump up to give us our kiss, and then she would get down. It never bothered us, as we knew it was her way of saying hello. She is getting older now and has a harder time jumping up, so we bend down for our kiss. In addition, if we ask her for a kiss at other times, she will come over, give us one lick, and then turn her head away. Needless to say, my dd loves this seemingly acts of affection, but I wonder exactly what goes through Crickets mind she is probably thinking something like these humans are so silly, I just hope this gets me a biscuit!

The Process: I began with the textured white Kardstock from AP Loved. I layered the aqua paper, and used a gradient mask to show color just on the lower portion of the paper, bringing down the opacity. I added the frame, and used the same paper to the frame so that it looked like it was blending in. I added the photo. I then added various WordART and brushes around the photo. I placed the small metal heart, and then added the KrissKross stitches and stitching holes. I added a new layer above the KrissKross Stitches which I filled with aqua, and then attached it to the stitched, and used blend mode Color to lightly color the stitches. I added some texture by adding a paper with a grid, and placed it on Blend Mode 'Darken', and then masked portions of it away, to allow just the area around the photo to have the grid texture.
