I was also inspired by Warhols Brooklyn Bridge poster. I used a photo of the bridge my son took on a trip to NY a few months ago.

Process:
Prepare photo (I usually prepare photo right on the page):
1. Enhance/Adjust Lighting/BrightnessContrast.
2. Enhance/Adjust color/Adjust color curves/Increase midtones.
Adjust and experiment with sliders for a high contrast colorful result similar to posterization.

Open template and position on page over white background.
Open, position and clip a different colored paper to each foto mask in the template.
Place prepared photo and enlarge to fill the template. Clip a copy of the photo to each mask.
Adjust the blending mode of the photos in each mask (I used pin light, screen).
Note: to extend color from one mask to another, carefully adjust portions of the mask with brush tool to overlap an adjoining mask.
Add SkinnyLined Overlays No.2, recolor paint splatter.
Add journaling.
