Journaling: Born in 1978 my entire childhood was spent in the 80s. I tried to do all the things that girls that age did. I wore neon colors, had high bangs, listened to Michael Jackson and watched all those great tv shows. As I have gotten older I look back at these pictures wondering who thought that was cool. I have realized that the 80s were about experimenting and putting yourself out there. We may have looked idiotic with our perms, feathered hair and blue eyeshadow but we discovered what cool was all about.
