Documenting the huge box of blocks given to my son by a colleague in 1985, and now being enjoyed by my son's son. I find that a then/now thing is happening in this album, and as I work, I'm sneaking in baby pictures of my son quite often. My daughter-in-law doesn't have photos from her childhood, else I'd be incorporating those, too. It's kind of present-day legacy-making, something interesting to do for this young family.

These FotoInspired templates are great when you have a lot of photos and are short on time. The new L pack has some really interesting shapes, and I'm in love with it. The process for this composition was straightforward--photos were clipped into place and then supplies were added to give interest and color. I made the title look woody by using a chunky font and clipping one of my photos to the letters. Duplicated on Multiply blend mode, my grandson's hair and face gave the word a fun effect.
Sitting up so well...he's super cute! The mix of son/grandson photos is like making two albums at the same time...inspires me to do the same! Fantastic title art, Laura!

Isn't this so adorable! I find the longevity of blocks very satisfying :) I like the 'blocks' title effect!

Love that you combined father and son. Th fun colors are so perfect for playtime fun! Love your title, too

I love the tasting photo. Amazing how most every child does this. Wonderful page.

Oh he makes me smile every time you post his pictures! He's really getting around well, and seems to be so happy. How nice you have a picture of your son playing with the same blocks and kept them for the next little one. LOVE your LO, and fun story telling pictures.

Oh my gosh, he's on the move! Love the insert photo of your son and the blocks that have been passed down to the next generation. We did that with all the Fisher Price toys I saved (which are now in storage waiting for the third generation)!

wow what a cutie! my sons loved blocks! I love these templates! cool how you did the title!

Love that the blocks are being given a second life and that you are finding ways of incorporating photos of both generations on your pages.
