Birdwatchers Paradise

It was another beautiful morning on the Alamosa NWR. Not many birds but who could complain when we saw both a golden eagle and a river otter. There were dark brown cattails, showy milkweeds and evening primroses. It was the kind of day that made me wish we could visit a lot more often.

Oh I'm always in wow when I look at your designs!
I have never seen a eagle but i think it must be very exciting !

Wow - amazing photos. Love how you stacked everything together neatly, still a bit haphazardly. Excellent work! GSO for this!

What's that saying about time spent in nature is never wasted? Wonderful photos and gorgeous layout. Congrats on your Standing O!

Beautiful photos. It's awhile since I saw an eagle. I used to see them often enough feeding off road-kill. They'd take off in slow motion when they saw a vehicle coming. Occasionally they'd be too slow . Always devastating to see the result. I'm glad to got to see this one.

The golden eagle is fabulous!
Congrats on the Standing O! Right where these should be.

Love the soft earth tones and greens and of course the majestic eagle! Congrats on the Standing O!
