Beyond the hat
Using Anna Aspnes APP ANew brushes (11&5)

Different technique was used here in the larger image,
I started by applying a poster edge filter effect to the image,
I found that in this case it has created a wonderful effect of identification of the textures in the hat,
unfortunately that has also created an undesired dark effect in the face,
To compensate that I created another layer as a copy of the original photo
that was overexposed to my treated image only in the areas that was needed by masking the image of this new layer.
The smaller image was treated with watercolor effects with simple light strokes.
Anna brushed were used to create interest in the background.
