Journaling reads: Mark and I arrived at the beach house where Jessica, Terry, Chance, Thad, and Araya were vacationing at around 4:00 on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. After getting unpacked and watching the kids play in the pool for several hours we all headed to the beach around 8:00 to watch the sunset. These tiny flowers were growing in the grasses along the walkway. I love their happy little faces. Some people call them weeds, but they make me smile when I see them. Google said the first picture is of field marigolds, but called the ones in the second pic telegraphweed. Whatever they are, I think they are beach dandies.
