The sculpture that I chose to scrap is Avatar by Philippe Faraut.http://philippefaraut.com/ He is a contemporary sculptor who captures inner emotion in his work. The face of this woman seemed to call to me, with her strength.

I started with a textured floral paper and blended a Messy AJ paper over it with Color Burn. A border was placed around the papers at Soft Light, with the opacity set at 60%. The next layer up is the blended face. It was a close up view of the sculpture, and I brought it into PS, and erased all of the dark background. I smoothed the edges with a very soft eraser at a low opacity, then blended it over the papers using Luminosity at 35% Opacity. After that, I added the photo of the sculpture, some paint, frame and word art.
